40 Foot Pool

How hot is it in Ireland?

Hot enough that I was glad the train on the way home from work today had some AC. That's like...a scorching 25+ degrees today in the Fair City. Gosh I've gotten soft, been out of southern Ontario for a little too long. Anywho, today's Doodle of the Day came after a lovely swim down in Sandycove at the famous 40 Foot Pool. I busted out of work early today, whipped home and grabbed me trunks, whipped down to the DART, whipped a bit further down Dublin Bay, whipped into the water and - goodness me - I whipped back out. The Irish sea will never be 25+ degrees. Here's my quicky sketch done with a water-pen.
